I choose France because it is one of the most interesting European countries currently. It has various attractions, such as its famous food, tourist places, climate, art, among others. In addition higher education is economic, has prestigious universities in which the student environment is excellent. It has a large variety of important museums such as the Louvre Museum, which has more than 35,000 works of art of all kinds. Its gastronomy is considered one of the best in the world. And this place also calls my attention due to the great demand that civil engineering has as a work area.
Comparison between the religious beliefs of France and Colombia
France has many religions and all people are allowed to follow the religion they choose because it is a secular country and freedom of thought and religion is encouraged. The Republic is based on the principle of laïcité, that is, the freedom of religion (including atheism and agnosticism). The majority of the population is Christian with 83% -88% of the people who practice Roman Catholicism. Other predominant religions are Protestantism, Judaism and Islam. [1]
In Colombia, the predominant religion in Colombia is Catholic. 92% of the national population says to profess Catholicism or they are registered as Catholics, but within that same population one can count groups of indifferent religious. The remaining 8% is part of other religious communities such as: Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, sects of Buddhist and Taoist origin, Muslims, Jews or natural religions, all with a minority representation.
